Courses

Conceal Weapon Plus (CCH/CWP)

This is the NC/SC certified course. Attendees will be able to dispel myth and ‘hear say’ from reality as we go through Laws governing the carrying a pistol concealed and the Use of Deadly Force. Participants are taken through FUNDAMENTALS of shooting where they are coached on shooting prior to their qualifications. You must attend this course person.

Intro to Firearms

Course introduces new firearm owners or those still on the fence to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and shooting a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about the types of pistol, components, operation, ammunition, safety, and shooting fundamentals. This is a good introductory training.

Fundamentals Plus

Great training for those who carry firearms for work or personal defense and wants more than just the routine static range (indoor/outdoor). Fundamentals Plus is designed as a series of training implemented in 3 levels with each focusing on a distinct set of skills.  These levels are taught independently but will complement each other if done as a package of 2 or more; if done as  package of 2, it is recommended to couple levels 1 and 2 or 2 and 3.  Participants will take away an appreciation for training and understand the benefits of training (versus practice).  See the high level overview of each level below:

Level 1 (Baseline):

  • Shooter baseline

  • Fundamentals of shooting w/firearm presentation

  • Firearm manipulation and malfunction clearing

  • EDC firearms and gear selection

 Level 2 (intermediate):

  • Shooter marksmanship baseline

  • Cadence of fire

  • Target engagement scenarios w/target transition

  • Shoot/don’t shoot scenarios w/movement

 Level 3 (advance):

  • Multiple round strings (Predictive/Instinctive)

  • Shooting on the move w/multiple target engagement and ammo conservation

  • Strong and weak hand weapon manipulation

  • Dynamic target engagement w/shooting positions

(Family) Action Plan:

This training course is designed to address family security concerns, catering to both married couples and single parents. The content and scenario-based structure emphasize a team-oriented approach wherever applicable. Teams may comprise a couple, a couple with children, or a single parent. For single parents, these principles are especially relevant, as they may rely solely on themselves. The objective is to develop a "Family Action Plan" and facilitate discussions on personal security. This can be offered with a shooting component to provide a unique learning opportunity for spouses/couples/ single parents.

Topics:

  • In home emergency readiness

  • External emergency readiness

Marksmanship

This course is one of the most fundamental for improving your ability to shoot, ‘hit what you are aiming at’. I fashioned this training after a similar training that I took on my journey that was very instrumental. This is a slow and deliberate process that produces extraordinary results. It creates the ability to call you shots and self correct knowing what levers to manipulate to correct your point of impact. I highly recommend this to anyone that owns a firearm regardless if it’s for conceal carry or home defense.

Rifle Fundamentals

This is a great option for a new to intermediate shooter. In this training we drill the basics as we work to create a solid foundation especially for new shooter and reinforce the basics for the more experienced. Training teaches how to zero and confirm zero, then steps into core rifle operations and manipulation techniques. We drill point of aim versus point of impact at various CQB distances, shooting cadence with various string of fire to understand recoil impulse at those distance. All drills help the participant baseline their ability and identify dry fire post training activities.

Individual training

  • On a case by case basis

  • Minimum of 4, 1 hour sessions

  • Participant will receive homework and progression plan

  • Video conference call require prior to 1st training session
